Welcome to Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal and the gateway to the Himalayas.
Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our representative will welcome you and transfer you by private vehicle to your hotel.
You will have time to rest and prepare for the Everest Base Camp Trek. Before the journey begins, your trekking guide or our team will provide an important trek briefing covering the itinerary, altitude, safety procedures and necessary preparations.
Overnight: Hotel in Kathmandu
Depending on the airline schedule and current aviation operating arrangements, your flight to Lukla may operate from Kathmandu or Ramechhap Airport.
After approximately 35–40 minutes from Kathmandu or around 15–20 minutes from Ramechhap, we arrive at Lukla, the famous gateway to the Everest region.
After meeting the trekking crew and making the final preparations, we begin our trek toward Phakding. The walk is relatively short and gentle, allowing your body to begin adapting gradually to the increasing altitude.
Walking Distance: Approximately 8 km
Walking Time: Approximately 3–4 hours
Overnight: Teahouse in Phakding
Today is intentionally kept shorter to provide a gradual approach toward Namche Bazaar.
We continue along the beautiful Dudh Koshi River, crossing suspension bridges and passing through pine forests and traditional Sherpa villages. The trail leads us toward Monjo, where we enter the Sagarmatha National Park area, before continuing toward Jorsale.
This shorter walking stage helps provide additional time for gradual acclimatization before the significant ascent toward Namche Bazaar.
Walking Distance: Approximately 7–9 km
Walking Time: Approximately 3–4 hours
Overnight: Teahouse in Monjo/Jorsale
After breakfast, we continue our journey toward Namche Bazaar, the main Sherpa trading town and one of the most important settlements in the Everest region.
The trail follows the Dudh Koshi River and crosses several suspension bridges, including the famous Hillary Suspension Bridge. From the river valley, the trail gradually climbs toward Namche Bazaar.
We maintain a comfortable pace with regular breaks and allow sufficient time for the ascent.
Walking Distance: Approximately 8–10 km

Overnight: Teahouse in Namche Bazaar
Today is dedicated to acclimatization.
Depending on your energy level and how you are feeling, you may take a gentle hike toward the Everest View area. The route offers excellent views of Mount Everest, Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Nuptse, Thamserku and other surrounding Himalayan peaks.
You may also spend time exploring Namche Bazaar and enjoying the remarkable mountain scenery.
Your trekking guide will carry a pulse oximeter and blood-pressure monitor for routine monitoring support during the trek.
Overnight: Teahouse in Namche Bazaar
We leave Namche Bazaar after breakfast and follow one of the most scenic sections of the Everest trekking route.
The trail offers magnificent views of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku and Kwangde. We gradually descend toward the Dudh Koshi River before beginning the climb through beautiful forests toward Tengboche.
Tengboche is one of the most beautiful and important locations in the Everest region, surrounded by spectacular Himalayan scenery.
Walking Distance: Approximately 10 km

Overnight: Teahouse in Tengboche
Today we leave Tengboche and descend through beautiful forests toward Deboche before crossing the Imja Khola.

Walking Distance: Approximately 11 km
Walking Time: Approximately 5–6 hours
Overnight: Teahouse in Dingboche
Another important acclimatization day is included in Dingboche to support a gradual approach to the higher elevations ahead.
Depending on your energy level and how your body is responding to the altitude, you may take a gentle optional hike around Dingboche or toward the surrounding hills. Alternatively, you may rest and enjoy the magnificent mountain scenery.
Your trekking guide will continue routine monitoring using a pulse oximeter and blood-pressure monitor.
Overnight: Teahouse in Dingboche
Today we continue gradually toward the higher elevations of the Everest region.
